Family Festival on the Occasion of Children's Day
Maya Victory and the Odzyskaj Środowisko Foundation cordially invite you to a family festival in Zabrze on June 15, 2024. The event, organized by the Osiedle Młodygo Górnika District Council in Zabrze, will take place at the District Council building at 2C Młodygo Górnika Street.

16:00-18:30 – Environmental workshops led by educators from the Recover Your Environment Foundation

Ecological Workshops:
From 4:00 p.m., we invite you to the Odzyskaj Środowisko Foundation stand, where you can take part in ecological workshops, including building a “forest from electrical waste” or playing chess made from recycled electrical waste obtained at the Maya Victory plant.

Maya Victory:
Maya Victory specializes in the processing of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). It operates two modern plants located in Bogumiłów and Zabrze. Thanks to ongoing investments and funding, including from Norway Grants, its technological processes allow it to extract a variety of valuable raw materials and metals from e-waste, such as aluminum, copper, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, steel, and brass, which are then sent to smelters and manufacturing plants where they are given new life.

Fundacja Odzyskaj Środowisko for over a decade, it has been active in the #smarted space, promoting knowledge about the proper handling of waste electrical and electronic equipment, the circular economy, and corporate social responsibility. As part of the Electric Waste project, it collaborates with 90 cities across Poland, showcasing the interesting and practical aspects of recycling. It also operates, in partnership with InPost, the EKOzwroty service, which focuses on extending the life of products and closing loops. The foundation’s innovative projects also include recycled apiaries and the Polish Capital of Recycling – a gamification program for cities and institutions.
